As a Research Intern at C-MET, one of the leading government research institutions for electronic materials, I contribute to materials and additive manufacturing for advanced electronics. My research involves optimization and application of Thermal plasma technology especially, Induction Plasma for spherical and nano-scale powder generation, component manufacturing via Binder Jet 3D printing. I am also involved in Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) which is used to create dense, high-quality parts, especially from powder. I also use material characterization (SEM, XRD, particle size analysis) tools to understand the properties and behavior of materials and apply numerical modeling ( CFD/MHD) to simulate and model the system behavior.
