Provide guidance and technical expertise on all matters that impact or affect the security of the information system.• Analyze and document exceptions, summarize associated risks, and provide recommendations for approval. • Assist the organization with monitoring security controls for IT systems, assuring a continuous state of compliance with all IT security regulations and requirements. • Support enterprise-wide risk assessments to evaluate inherent and residual risks and inform strategic leadership decisions. • Monitor and evaluate IT security controls to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with organizational standards.• Provide periodic reports on the state of regulatory compliance, plan development, approval status, and/or significant issues relating to IT management and information security.• Conduct complex risk assessments of external party information security controls ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.• Collaborate with senior management to incorporate emerging cybersecurity and AI trends into current and future solutions.• Lead audits and evaluations aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS, and CCPA.• Assist in the creation and enforcement of information security standards, policies, and procedures.• Evaluate and identify security risks of third-party solutions, advising stakeholders based on best practices. • Continuously keep abreast of emerging security trends and technologies.
