ABOUT ADELLE LEEBEL
I am a junior at Boston University studying Public Relations and English, who is passionate about media relations, writing and editing, social media strategy and brand storytelling. I am currently working as a Communications Intern at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget in Washington, D.C.This past summer, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Editor for Pilottown Press, the new publishing imprint for Historic Lewes. In this role, I produced original content, including a feature interview, monthly newsletters and press releases. I also assisted in launching social media campaigns to spotlight Pilottown Press events. Additionally, as the Social Media Manager for The Lewes Building Company, I managed and expanded the company’s social media presence across Instagram and Facebook. I created and scheduled content to showcase the company’s projects while monitoring analytics to track performance and optimize audience engagement. These efforts generated interactions with national brands, namely Pella and James Hardie, and increased the company’s overall visibility.Looking ahead, I am excited to pursue a career in public relations, where I can blend creative storytelling with strategic communication to help brands and organizations foster stronger connections with their audiences!
