About Yidan Adelin
I’m a Computer Engineering & Mathematics student at the University of Washington who likes thinking about why systems behave the way they do.I’m especially drawn to research-driven engineering—modeling complex systems with graphs, building ML-powered tools, and working close to the boundary between theory and implementation. I enjoy problems that reward curiosity, rigor, and clean abstractions, whether that’s digging into a strange system behavior or turning an idea into working software. Along the way, I’ve led technical teams, built user-facing tools, and learned how to explain technical ideas clearly to very different audiences.Always learning, always iterating and always looking for software engineering or research-adjacent opportunities where I can grow while contributing to real systems.
