I’m a student at American University studying Political Communication and Data Science for Political Science, with hands-on experience in journalism, political campaigns, and strategic communications. I’m especially interested in how research, data, and storytelling intersect to shape public understanding of politics, policy, and democracy.Currently, I serve as Managing Editor for the Opinion Section of The Eagle, AU’s student newspaper, where I oversee editorial planning, manage a team of columnists, and edit political and opinion content under tight deadlines. This role has strengthened my ability to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across published work while collaborating with diverse writers and stakeholders.Beyond journalism, I’ve worked on local political campaigns and in campaign finance compliance, supporting communications, research, and reporting for political clients. These experiences have sharpened my attention to detail, judgment, and ability to translate complex regulatory and policy information into accessible language.I’m motivated by work that supports democratic institutions, informed civic engagement, and effective political communication. I’m currently seeking opportunities in political communications, research, media, and public affairs, particularly roles that allow me to contribute to high-impact, mission-driven work while continuing to learn and grow.
