ABOUT ADELE LOPES
Hello! I\'m Adele, a recent B.Sc. graduate interested in functional genomics, drug design, and science communication. Currently, I am working as a Bioninformatics Intern at Telescope Therapeutics. My past roles as a research technician at the Research Instute of the McGill University Health Centre and intern at the University of Toronto lead me to develop strong experience in gene editing, cell culture, CRISPR-cas systems, in vivo murine models, and fluorescence activated cell sorting. I am really passionate about making science accessible to non-scientific audiences. This passion spurred me to work as a research assistant in the Science Communication Office at McGill University, and the Managing Editor of Journalism at the McGill Undergraduate Research Journal.
