Work in the Reverse Mortgage Bank as a Team Lead of the Portfolio department. Have developed in depth knowledge in the reverse mortgage industry. Gained invaluable skills and expertise in product and process to establish myself as a subject matter expert in my field. Prior to working in Portfolio administration, I worked as a client relations specialist in the bank. This opened up the world of reverse mortgage to me. It gave me an unique opportunity to speak to the clients directly and understand their needs, their mindset and the ways that they use this product. This role really grounded me and gave me the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge that I would need to serve our clientele. Before relocating to Canada and joining the reverse mortgage industry, I worked for few years as an entrepreneur in Manila, Philippines. I had thriving business, with multiple stores in Metro Manila, selling clothes, both retail and wholesale. And before all that my first real job in the corporate world was as a Public Relations Consultant. I worked almost a decade in this industry in different roles and capacity. This helped me to develop in depth experience in strategic planning and client handling. I specialized in pitching for new and existing clients, formulating effective PR platforms and executing plans for measurable impacts. My years in public relations industry, exposed me to a multitude of other varied industries, covering retail, aeronautics, automobile, finance, government, insurance and much more. This helped me to mature and grow and set me up for future success.
