ABOUT ADEGOKE FAMILOLA

Adegoke has over two years of experience in the non-profit sector. He has consistently delivered positive outcomes in a variety of capacities by exhibiting resiliency, agility, and adaptability. He worked as a consultant and project officer with i-APS, monitoring and evaluating humanitarian projects coordinated by UNOCHA. While working with Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet as a sustainability intern, I wrote a human-interest story on the mining communities in the Western Balkans and efforts to use degraded lands to spur alternative livelihood investments in biomass waste-to-energy. Further, he worked with Generation European Climate as an agriculture project officer to strengthen intergenerational debate between farmers from different regions in Europe on the new Common Agricultural Policy and sustainable food systems. Adegoke is deeply committed to the causes of sustainability, climate change, and food security. He possesses a profound interest in policies to address food and agricultural challenges and how these policies can be developed and directed to improve the standard of living of the human race. Currently, he is working on how innovation system approaches can support agrifood system transformation and sustainable transition in agriculture.
