ABOUT ADEEL AHMED
Currently working as a Process Automation Engineer for the Manufacturing OT environment of semiconductor fabrication unit at Qualcomm-RF360 Europe GmbH. Responsible for the goal of developing more visualization into the OT environment and towards achieving the goal of a Smart Factory concept. Previously worked as an IoT system developer for smart metering applications with the task of analyzing state of the art Cellular IoT technologies for an end-to-end IoT system from the end-nodes to the cloud. My work involves developing the code structure for a complete application on a Nordic Thingy91 (nrf9160 SiP) development kit using SES as a development framework, with major tasks related to embedded systems and cellular IoT implementation.Completed my Masters in Communication Engineering (MSCE) at Technical University of Munich (TUM), with my main interests in Networking and IoT related fields. My Masters thesis research involved the analysis of the connectivity requirements and challenges of IoT applications in an Industry 4.0 environment. Analysis of the functioning of wired / wireless sensors in an industrial environment scenario utilizing different layered IoT protocols is the main focus of my thesis. A part of my work also associates with a current Austrian Flagship project IOT4CPS.https://iot4cps.at/Have a previous work experience of 2 and half years at Larsen & Toubro Ltd. as a Senior Project Engineer. My work involved programming the PLC logic for automation of the equipments associated.Equipped with soft skills in programming languages like C, C++, Python, Node JS, Ladder logic and also in various softwares such as Segger Embedded Studio (SES), DAVE C, Matlab, Xilinx (Vivado), Mentor Graphics (Modelsim), RS Logix Programming) to name a few.
