ABOUT ADEEB JLILATI

I am an ophthalmology resident at Aleppo Hospital University, where I am gaining clinical and surgical skills in eye care and treatment. I have completed a medical elective at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where I joined the neurology team and gained valuable experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management. In addition to my clinical training, I have participated in several research projects as a researcher at the Online Research Club. I have contributed to the design, screening, extraction, and writing of a cross-sectional study on the perceptions of obstetrics/gynecology surgeons on non-medically indicated cesarean sections. I have also obtained a certification in epidemiology for public health from Coursera, which has enhanced my data analysis and interpretation skills. My goal is to pursue a trainee research position in the US, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to the advancement of medical science. I am proficient in Arabic and English, and have experience in translation, which could be an asset for working in a multicultural environment. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other researchers and clinicians, and to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of patients and communities.
