As head of the RAD/SRE team, my responsibilities cut across providing support for existing products - web apps, DataFactories, logic apps, function apps, pipelines - as well as developing new tools for the internal business team. To cater for these tasks in the most productive manner, I engage in regular mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions with my team, joint conversations with the client-facing and core products teams. My primary goal is to ensure my team is on top of any technical issues that might affect the operations of the business team as well as the clients we serve. Thus, our support tasks entail debugging apps using a combination of Visual Studio debugging tools, Azure Application Insights as well as other monitoring services provided by Azure. For delivering on new products to enhance internal business operations, I actively work with a number of Azure resources including: • Azure Logic Apps • Azure Function Apps • Azure Data Factories • Azure Storage • Provisioning Azure resources using ARM Templates • Configuring YAML pipelines for Continuous integration and deployment • PowerShell scripting for manual deployments or testing
