ABOUT ADEA LLANE
I’m a public health and nutrition researcher with a Master’s in Food and Health (University of Padua) and a Bachelor’s in Public Health (University of Medicine, Tirana). My work brings together epidemiology, nutrition, and biostatistics to design strategies that improve health promotion and disease prevention. Currently, I am a Research Assistant at the Unit of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Padua, contributing to methodological and applied research in epidemiology and biostatistics. In parallel, I serve as an Adjunct Researcher at Epistudia in Bern, Switzerland, where I work on health-related systematic reviews and meta-analyses, with publications in leading international journals. I also have clinical and international research experience, which has strengthened my ability to connect scientific evidence with practical health solutions. I am a member of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), passionate about advancing research in obesity and contributing to evidence-based interventions for better prevention and management of chronic diseases.
