Lead, coordinate, and carry out required compliance and audit activities liaising with internal staff, and internal and external auditors.Provide overall assurance for continued compliance and ongoing certifications (e.g. SOC Type 1 and Type 2, PCIDSS and ISO 27001) and execute a collection of evidence to support compliance.Maintaining documentation including policies, processes, procedures, and checklists ensuring that the information security management systems conform to the requirements of ISO 27001.Conduct assessments and validation activities to verify operational compliance, identify and evaluate gaps and manage exceptions to policy.Collaborates with key stakeholders and/or technical leads for resolution and improvement of processes and procedures.Maintain the organization’s IT Risk Register for effective risk management and operational compliance functions.Develop and implement metrics and reporting processes to ensure risks are effectively managed.Effectively communicate with leaders across the business to share results of assurance and advisory projects, and to inform on the status of key risks and mitigation efforts.Responsible for communicating any changes to requirements to the operational support teams and ensuring that all teams read and understand applicable changes in line with their operational role.Responsible for the preparation of detailed and accurate written deliverables and documentation, including audit reports (with findings, recommendations for remediation, and management responses), testing work papers, narratives, control descriptions, risk & control matrices, and process flowcharts.Lead internal controls walkthroughs and other initiatives to identify and assess changes to the control environments and advise leaders and process owners to ensure risks are adequately mitigated.Support and enforce Information Security Policy, Standards, and Guidelines for business operations and technology implementation within Managed Services.
