ABOUT ADDA HENNESSEY
Hi! I\'m Adda, a senior studying Civil Engineering at Tufts University with a strong interest in transportation. I started my college journey not knowing what an engineer did. However, when I took more classes and met more professors and older students, I realized civil engineering was for me. After getting exposure to the industry during my internship at SGH, I am confident that my skills and experience will allow me to succeed at a structural engineering internship this coming summer. Here are a few of my highlights- As a Project Lead for EWB, I manage 60+ members across 5 technical groups in improving, maintaining, and designing the on-campus greenhouse with over 8 engineering projects for the local community of Tufts and beyond- During my time at SGH, I interacted with 150+ structural and architectural drawings to obtain dimensions of buildings for contractors and redact Controlled Unclassified Information for security of the project- I also am an active member of Tufts Girl Gains & the Crafts Center! I hope to find opportunities and connections on LinkedIn where I can both apply what I have learned from my academic and extracurricular pursuits and gain new experiences and skills.
