I am a speech-language pathologist with cumulative 3+ years of clinical experience working with adults with various cognitive-communication disorders. I am a proven clinician with successful experience in- Establishing patient rapport- Identifying, administrating, and interpreting the results of proper assessments for individual patients- Establishing personalized care plans - Providing speech and language treatment to adults with varying degrees of cognitive-communication and/or swallowing impairments- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team physicians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals I currently provide skilled speech therapy services in the inpatient rehabilitation setting to individuals with a variety of swallowing and communication/language disorders, including apraxia, aphasia, dementia, dysphagia, cognitive-communication deficits, etc. I have ample experience in treating a variety of patients with cognitive-communicative and swallowing deficits in inpatient and outpatient settings. I have experience treating Parkinson\'s Disease, head/neck cancer patients, tracheotomy patients, Broca\'s/Wernicke\'s aphasias, and traumatic brain injuries. I have administered a variety of standardized tests, including the CLQT, RBANS, and WAB-R among others. I work well within interdisciplinary teams, am timely and accurate with documentation and billing, possess excellent communication skills that allow for successful translation of information to family and caretakers who may not understand medical terminology, and I possess excellent organizational skills that allow me to be able to handle a multitude of tasks with little to no supervision.
