My name is Axsel Brown. I was born in Myrtle Beach, SC. However, I was raised in Pawleys Island, SC. Growing up I was interested in art, music, math, and technology. I am the first person in my family to pursue a college education. Currently, I am seeking my CPA certification. After working in public accounting (Taxation) for a number of years, I have transitioned to a career in academia.
