Won over 20 contracts with multiple central and state government / police / intelligence entities and established a firm footing within the Home Ministry.Previous roles included building the Project & Portfolio Management practice in London and being a member of the executive team of the IT Strategy & Transformation business in the UK (2004 – 2008).Select UK experiences covered transformation at a global bank, technology-led transformation for a DIY retailer, merger planning and integration support for consumer goods majors, transformation of a wine and spirits company’s IT capabilities, etc. Alumnus of Accenture’s Leadership Development Program – a 9-month long invitation-based program aimed at grooming Accenture’s next generation of leaders.

ABOUT ADARSH PAREKH
I am a Managing Director within our Health & Public Sector (H & PS) business at Accenture, based in London, responsible for working with our clients at the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and Department for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra) to identify and bring solutions to the key challenges they face. Addressing these challenges gives me purpose and makes me want to go to work every day! In my 30 years of post-MBA international management consulting and business services experience, I have had the privilege of working with senior leadership at a number of public sector entities and global corporations across industries, assisting them with large-scale, complex, technology-driven transformations to drive growth and efficiency. My experiences include strategy, corporate planning, M&A, governance and IT strategy. I have had the opportunity to set up and grow multiple consulting and business services practices within Accenture, including our H & PS Back Office Transformation business across Europe. This business focuses on helping clients discover and unlock value in the Finance and HR corporate functions - through technology-led transformations. I have also been accountable for strategic sales of Border and Identity Management opportunities across Europe - helping governments keep borders safe while facilitating travel, economic and cultural opportunities for travellers.A few years back I thoroughly enjoyed a stint in India, where I led the team to set up Accenture\'s Technology Consulting advisory services business in 2008 in India and was then invited to join the management team to grow the Health and Public Sector business in India.
