As Executive Director of the California Workforce Association (CWA), I lead statewide advocacy, policy development, and system-building efforts on behalf of California’s 45 local workforce development boards. In this role, I work with state agencies, policymakers, education leaders, and industry partners to ensure California’s workforce system is aligned with the needs of employers and workers in a rapidly changing economy.My responsibilities include: • Advancing policy and legislative priorities that strengthen workforce and education systems. • Supporting local workforce boards in building capacity and driving innovation. • Overseeing organizational strategy, operations, and fiscal stewardship. • Serving as spokesperson and representative for CWA at the state and national level. • Fostering partnerships that promote equity, inclusion, and economic mobility for all Californians.This role allows me to continue the work that has defined my career: championing human-centered, data-driven workforce solutions that build opportunity for communities and employers alike.
