I’m an ACCA and AAT-qualified accountant in the UK, with over 13 years of experience running my own accountancy practice and 8 years as a Financial Controller and Finance Director. Having been fully qualified since 2007, I bring not only deep technical expertise but also a huge amount of real-world commercial knowledge from working alongside business owners day in, day out. My passion lies in helping SME owners achieve their goals — whether that’s preparing their business for sale, scaling up for growth, stepping back to enjoy more time with loved ones, or simply gaining clarity over their financial future. I’ve spent my career advising and consulting entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the challenges of running a business with a clear, pragmatic approach. I understand first-hand what it means to build, run, and transition a business because I’ve been there myself. I’m a business owner, not a salesperson — and my aim is always to listen first, understand objectives, and explore solutions that work. for those involved. I’ve built my career on turning financial expertise into real-world results — not just for the sake of numbers, but to unlock potential, create options, and support bold decisions. I’ve worked with start-ups looking to raise capital and find their feet, and with established businesses navigating change, restructuring, or preparing for sale. My role flexes to fit the need — whether that’s designing and automating finance systems, building robust forecasts, advising on tax and share structures, or stepping in as a Virtual FD or Non-Exec to bring strategic direction and steady guidance. I’ve supported business owners through funding and lending applications, tax investigations, due diligence, valuations, and everything in between — always with a focus on clarity, momentum, and long-term value.
