   The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Through an international network of country offices, ADRA delivers relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 120 countries—regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation or religious association. ADRA Connections is the department that plans, promotes and executes short-term mission trips for groups from the United States to assist in these existing projects all across the globe.By partnering with communities, organizations and governments, ADRA Connections trips will help to improve the quality of life of millions through the various projects that fall into one of nine categories: 1. social justice, 2. disaster response, 3. economic growth, 4. children, 5. gender equality, 6. community health, 7. water, sanitation & hygiene, 8. hunger & nutrition, and 9. livelihoods & agriculture.
