The Debt for Nature Coalition was created by seven leading international organizations—Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, The Pew Charitable Trusts, Re:wild, The Wildlife Conservation Society, World Wildlife Fund, and ZOMA LAB. The collective mission is to accelerate and scale innovative financial mechanisms to convert sovereign debt into long-term investments in nature, resilience and people. The Coalition will develop and implement global practice standards for converting sovereign debt, execute a shared pipeline of transactions, expand access to public and private capital for credit enhancement, and advance market-shaping policies.
