Radiology Technician Assistant @Intermountain Health
As a radiology tech assistant, I currently transport and help prepare patients for in-patient imaging for the entire level-1 trauma center at Intermountain Medical Center. I see many different areas of the hospital and how various departments work together. As I transport patients, I try to help them feel comfortable and answer any questions they have. I also supervise a team of 36 tech assistants and spend time each day leading team meetings, assisting with onboarding and training for new employees, and checking in with each team member. I love the daily balance of connecting with patients and implementing changes to improve the quality and efficiency of the department and patient care.
