Hi, I’m Sydney Adams, a finance major at the University of Arizona focused on building a strong foundation in markets, systems, and risk. Academically, I’m involved in the financial modeling club and continue to deepen my understanding of valuation, portfolio construction, and market structure. Alongside that, I value building community outside of finance through fine arts and community service, which has shaped how I think about discipline, creativity, and long-term work. Recently, I’ve been spending a significant amount of time at the intersection of finance and automation. I’ve been translating discretionary trading ideas into fully automated systems, working with Python, live market data, and rule-based execution. That process has shifted my focus toward robustness, constraints, and how systems behave across different market environments. I’m especially interested in how automation, AI, and systems design can be used to improve decision-making, research workflows, and risk management rather than simply optimize outcomes.I’m always eager to learn and to connect with peers, mentors, and professionals who enjoy thinking deeply about markets, technology, and building things that hold up over time.
