As Site Inventory Controller, I’m responsible for ensuring the accuracy, flow, and optimisation of all LPG cylinder related stock and components on-site, while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and culture across Calor Neath.Core Responsibilities:Oversee daily and monthly stock accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting across LPG cylinder categories and valve components.Work closely with production and yard supervisors to optimise material flow, reduce downtime, and maintain compliance with Calor’s quality and safety standards.Deliver site-wide 5S and Lean improvement projects under initiatives such as Project SHARP, focusing on workplace organisation, waste reduction, and safety culture.Design and deliver visual management systems, PPE zones, and safety communication boards (e.g, Know Your Boots, Gloves, Glasses & Masks campaigns).Key Achievements & Projects:Led multiple A3 problem-solving initiatives focused on PPE compliance and organisation.Supported the rollout of improved PPE management through the Know Your Boots and Know Your Gloves campaigns, now adopted as best practice references.SummaryI see my role not just as managing stock, but as managing systems — creating clarity, reducing waste, and helping people work smarter and safer.
