ABOUT ADAM SHYNG

I\'m a 4rd Year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of British Columbia, specializing in Global Supply Chain & Logistics Management and Real Estate. Growing up, I\'ve always been immersed in various sports, with volleyball taking center stage. Through countless practices and tournaments, I discovered that while the game itself was exhilarating, it was the bonds formed with teammates and the community that truly enriched my experience. Coaching and mentoring younger athletes became a passion project, allowing me to share my love for volleyball while imparting lessons in teamwork, resilience, and determination. In volleyball, I found myself drawn to the role of setter - a position without glory, but crucial in orchestrating the team\'s success. As a setter, my success came not from personal accolades but from enabling my teammates to shine. The philosophy of success is best when shared has shaped my approach to collaboration and leadership both on and off the court. My academic pursuits in business have only deepened my appreciation for teamwork and collaboration. I thrive in environments where diverse perspectives come together to tackle challenges head-on.
