Actor, director, writer and professor with a decade of experience as a program manager. My mission is to create performances inspiring the hearts of collaborators and witnesses. As an actor, I am an expert physical actor with straight edge humor and dynamic improvisation skills on stage and in front of the camera. I have directed and co-created productions of outdoor theatre, immigrant/refugee casts and stories, and original productions created by adult men transitioning from drug/alcohol abuse, homelessness and mental health issues. Seven Pillars Acting, taught at Actor’s Studio of Orange County, is a professional technique for the modern actor. Beginning Acting for Adults is broken into two sections: Living Truthfully and Reality of Doing. LIVING TRUTHFULLY focuses on the Pillars of Contact, Circumstance, Meaning and Emotional Life, also called Pillars 1-4, and REALITY OF DOING focuses in on Objective, Action and Physical Life, which are Pillars 5-7. Both sections make up two halves of one whole, equipping the actor with all the tools he needs to act. Actors often take both sets of Pillars at once, otherwise they can be taken in any order when beginning training.
