I trained as an engineer, before starting a software company with my wife Laila at the age of 24.We sold the business to a publicly traded company before I was 40 - while learning many lessons along the way.The rush of building our firm, which made the Inc. 500 list three years in a row, gave me a deep understanding of business, markets, and scaling.Today, my mission is twofold:• Acquire and elevate outstanding American companies in the realms of tech, manufacturing, and real estate.• Mentor and guide founders, leveraging my years of hands-on experience, as they scale their ventures.I have a keen interest in companies with robust Intellectual Property, strong brand presence, and those with “sticky” technology that customers rely on.If that sounds like you, I\'m interested in helping you reach the next level.Outside of business, I’m a dad to three incredible kids.I cherish moments spent farming, fishing, and beekeeping on our off-grid Virginia farm and find solace in hiking, camping, and embracing the great outdoors.
