Currently, I act as the guiding force behind all operations and support services executed by over 1K employees across all locations, including the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital, the primary public healthcare provider for metropolitan Chicago. This has been an exciting opportunity to continue showcasing my change agent capabilities while leveraging data analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas.\\\\n\\\\nSELECT ACHIEVEMENTS\\\\n\\\\nBusiness Management Office (10 Employees) I established a new business office to centralize operations, HR, and contract management, resolving financial, hiring and other issues. The new HR wing in particular has significantly cut times to fill positions, reducing vacancies to lowest levels.\\\\n\\\\nClinical Engineering Department (30 Employees): I renegotiated a contract to cut costs and drove projects to launch two new units, significantly expanding organizational capabilities.\\\\n\\\\nEnvironmental Services Department (285 Employees): Several key changes I have made have reduced bed turnover times, and I retrained staff to meet industry standards, resulting in improving Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores for the first time in 7+ years.\\\\n\\\\nLaboratory Services (240 Employees): I led the Stroger and Provident Hospital labs to successfully pass 2021 and 2022 CAP inspections, respectively. I also enhanced performance by completely revamping lab organizational charts and crafting new job descriptions to align with CLIA standards.\\\\n\\\\nHospital Police Department (100 Employees): A major focus of mine is continuing to improve public safety for one of the busiest Emergency Departments nationwide, handling multiple gun-shot victims daily.\\\\n\\\\nFood & Nutrition Team (140 Employees): I redesigned the departmental structure and continue to make changes resulting in month-over-month improvements in Press Ganey scores, while never failing annual city inspections.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
