Work as a Project Manager / Project Architect on Industrial, Retail, Office and Public projects. Managed projects that range from a few thousand square feet to millions of square feet. Create and manage project proposals and contracts. Regularly coordinate with in-house team (Structural, Interior Design, Landscape, Civil and Land Use Planning) and out-of-house consultants (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology, Geotechnical and Surveyor). Create and track project schedules and budgets to ensure team is on-track with projections. Manage tasks delegated to Project Architects, Job Captains, Architectural Designers, Interns and in-house and out-of-house consultants.

ABOUT ADAM OLSEN

CONTACT ME: email: a••••••••@gmail.com mobile: I started my professional career on Christmas morning 1984, when Santa brought me my first set of Construx. I graduated from building blocks and began hand-drafting widgets in Mr. Rich’s high school class and then went onto being an apprentice carpenter for residential remodels during the summer months. I loved every minute of it.Today, I am a highly motivated, hard working Project Manager and Architect, just as curious as to how things go together as I was back in 1984. After leaving college I started drafting (more complex widgets) and began learning what it means to be an architect in the real world. After about six years of being an architectural technician and job captain, I graduated into project management. Now, I’m on the hunt to be the best project architect and manager I can be and enjoy being the orchestrator of budgets, schedules and of course getting down and dirty in the building details. I’m a process person through and through. When I’m not playing architect, I can usually be found playing golf, investing in real estate and spending time with my friends and family. SPECIALTIES: Project Architect and Management Process improvement Follow through Well organized and outstanding communicator Efficient time manager and multitasker Work well within and can lead a team Superior professional skills and easy to talk to Dependable and responsive Optimistic and tenacious problem solver Always willing to listen to another approach or ideaCOMPUTER SKILLS: CAD: Revit, AutoCad, Microstation (many different versions) Google SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Publisher, Powerpoint and Outlook) HTML Can type over 80 words per minute
