About Adam Nelson
From 20••••17, I was an associate with the Bortstein Legal Group, where I negotiated technology vendor contracts including SaaS agreements, software licenses, consulting MSAs and SOWs, market data agreements and NDAs. I also helped structure and negotiate several larger scale outsourcing initiatives and assisted with both pre-acquisition and pre-divestiture due diligence. I am currently part of ASCAP\'s Business and Legal Affairs team, where I focus on technology transactions to support ASCAP\'s infrastructure.My legal education is complemented by nearly ten years of music industry experience, where I saw the ground-level complexities of copyright control and licensing in a digital world.
