   Primarily responsible for technology aspects of renovations at both full service / select service hotels. Typical duties include conducting scope surveys of new or existing sites, project budgeting, review and comment on construction drawings, and planning/implementation of technology during construction phases. In 2024, took on additional role as lead project manager for all corporate surveillance system capital expenditure projects- As of 2024, have managed a total of 13 active or completed renovations (2 full service, 10 select service, 1 restaurant), with planning completed for an additional 14 (6 full service / 8 select service) properties scheduled in 2025/26- In 2023 led IT implementation for the newly opened Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill, Sonesta’s latest luxury hotel. Technology implemented included workstations, Wi-Fi, IPTV, leaderboards, Point-of-Sale, lighting, audio, energy management, surveillance, and meeting room casting technology. The hotel was recognized with NAIOP DC|MD’s “Best Renovation” award at the association’s annual Awards of Excellence Gala-Managed 16 planned or emergency capital CCTV projects, including both traditional hosted as well as cloud-based surveillance technology. Recently completed budget planning for 34 projects in 2025- Collaborated with Sonesta Design team to develop a comprehensive IT renovation RACI with the goal of offering IT services as a fee for prospective new franchises- Wrote and published corporate standards for low voltage design and execution as well as surveillance system installation.
