As the Associate Head Golf Professional at Westchase Golf Club, I am responsible for assisting the Director of Golf and General Manager in the daily operations of the golf club. Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Service Delivery- Greeting members and guests, providing helpful information, and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all golfers at Westchase Golf Club- Assist with tee time reservations, answer phone calls, and respond to emails regarding golf inquiries and requests to over golf rounds annually- Display exceptional problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or issues in a prompt and professional manner- Provide golf course information, club policies, and relevant updates to ensure a seamless golfing experience to staff.2. Golf Shop Management- Manage the operations of the golf shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales- Maintain a clean and organized golf shop appearance, ensuring products are well-displayed and priced correctly.3. Tournament and Event Management- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of golf tournaments, outings- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, including food and beverage, course setup, and staffing- Provide pre-event and post-event administrative tasks such as registrations, scoring, prize distribution, and financial reconciliation- Foster relationships with tournament organizers, sponsors, and patrons to promote future event bookings.4. Golf Course Operations Support- Collaborate with the golf course maintenance team to communicate player concerns, course conditions, and maintenance schedules.

As the Assistant Golf Professional at Westchase Golf Club in Tampa Florida, I have honed my skills in tournament management, golf shop inventory and merchandising, coaching and instruction, and managing daily golf operations. My expertise lies in providing personalized client guest experiences as well as associate team management. My leadership approach comes from my 15 years in resort management with Marriott Resorts, encompassing Mr. Marriott\'s philosophy as a \"Spirit to Serve.\" I am currently in the PGA\'s professional golf management program, Level One. In addition to my daily golf shop and outside operational responsibilities, I am also responsible for managing various aspects of golf operations at the course, including tournament management and staff supervision. My strong communication and interpersonal skills enable me to effectively interact with golfers of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.I stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the industry, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge through the PGA North Florida golf section and the Florida Golf Association.
