About Adam Hyde

I was raised in the small mining town of Lovelock Nevada and graduated from Pershing County High School in 2004. The summer before my first year of college I worked on the labor crew at a local silver mine. It was here I learned to appreciate the true meaning of hard work at a fairly young age.My first day of college I started as a Ticket Sales Associate in the athletics department at the University of Nevada. After graduating with my degree in Business Management I was presented with the opportunity to be hired as the Ticket Office Coordinator. In this position I managed all day to day ticket office operations. After over 10 years of working in the ticket office I made the difficult decision to leave university, venture out, and continue to develop as an employee. In June of 2015 I was hired as the Accounts Receivable Coordinator at Squaw Valley|Alpine Meadows. In this position I feel extremely fortunate because my passion for snowboarding and my love of business get to work hand in hand. In my short time here I have managed to significantly reduce the companies receivables. I have also worked closely with the Director of Finance and the Director of Sales in developing and implementing new reporting measures used in calculation of our sales goals. Im looking forward to future opportunities in business, finance, or accounting where I can continue to demonstrate my work ethic and passion for continued development as an employee.
