ABOUT ADAM SHELLY

As a Project Development Director at Ecosystem based in New York City, I am driven in optimizing my clients\' energy environments while reducing the impact on the climate and improving balance sheets. My design process is informed by my ability to think both creatively and logically, leading to innovative, high-performance designs. With strong vision and balanced judgment, I leverage the assets, skills, and needs of all stakeholders to create the best possible energy efficiency project. I am a Professional Engineer in seven states in the United States, LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, and licensed electrical contractor. Throughout my career, I\'ve been responsible for projects from the inception to close-out. My energy activities include decarbonization studies, electrification, heat pumps, financial capex and opex models, building energy simulations, life cycle analysis, load calculations, HVAC systems design, equipment selection and documentation, LEED submissions, and lighting designs. I have also served as a project manager for projects ranging from large medical building renovations to office retrofits. I have been deeply involved with developing traditional engineering design-bid-build project, design-build models, public private partnerships (P3), and other types of contractually-structured projects.
