Founder of a non-profit dedicated to supporting and guiding hourly professionals within the coffee industry. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have facilitated crowdfunding efforts to provide financial support to cafes, baristas, and other hourly coffee professionals who have lost their jobs or found their work schedules dramatically decreased due to complications related to the COVID-19 crisis. We also are providing grants to those hourly coffee professionals that have seen income interruptions or decreases due to COVID. Selected accomplishments-Helped to secure sponsorship deals with JNP Coffee, Melitta, Oatly, Seattle Coffee Gear, and Torani-spearheaded the Stay Grounded Initiative, a virtual mental health grant for hourly coffee professionals -built and mainted the Go Fund Bean website, which was a repository for over one hundred virtual tip jars around the country
