I am a senior leader focused on domestic emergency response, strategic planning, and interagency coordination, with specialized expertise in communications and public affairs that strengthens operational effectiveness in complex environments.I currently serve as a Domestic Operations Planner (J5) and State Public Affairs Officer for the Oklahoma Army National Guard, where I contribute to the planning and execution of domestic operations in support of civil authorities. My work centers on operational planning, preparedness, and response coordination, ensuring that mission intent, interagency alignment, and public-facing communication remain synchronized during high-consequence events.A distinguishing aspect of my leadership profile is a deep background in strategic communications and communication design, developed through both military service and civilian practice. As a Colonel and combat veteran, and as Principal and Creative Director of Qubit Creative, I bring an uncommon ability to translate complex operational plans into clear, actionable messaging—internally across staffs and externally to partners, leadership, and the public.    Combining civilian-acquired skills with combat training, the Army National Guard assists communities recovering from natural disasters, pandemics, and civil disturbances while serving as the primary reserve for Active Duty Army during military conflict. Currently a Colonel, serving as the State Public Affairs Officer for the Oklahoma National Guard. In this role, I manage the public affairs team to create both short and long-term campaign plans which communicate the marketing messages of the Oklahoma National Guard through print, video, and social media.Combat veteran with overseas service in complex, high-risk operational environmentsMy previous assignments include: Executive Officer, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team - Chief of Staff and second in command for a unit consisting of roughly 3,500 Soldiers.
