I am a general dentist with a practice in Columbia, SC. Also, I have concentrated my practice heavily in the area of TMJ and Migraine treatment. Information about this can be found at I have attained a Fellowship from The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVIF). This fellowship required completion of seven core courses in neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry in addition to passing a comprehensive written exam. Four of the courses were live patient treatments and included full mouth neuromuscular rehabilitation. Maintenance requires constant continuing education. This makes me one of only seven in the state of South Carolina to achieve this accomplishment and gives me the ability to diagnose and treat complex craniofacial pain and TMJ disorders.I have also attained a Fellowship from The Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Only 5% of over AGD dentists have attained this accolade.From February - May 2013 I attended the TMD and Neuromuscular Occlusion mini-residency program at the Center for Advanced Occlusal Studies in Parkersburg, WV under the direction of Dr. Jay Gerber.Since 2011 I have been working closely with Lactation Consultants and breastfeeding professionals to help support natural breastfeeding in SC. I perform laser frenectomy procedures to release tongue and lip ties on infants who are having difficulty breastfeeding due to functional anatomic restrictions. As of 2018 I am the sole owner of Smile Columbia Dentistry. Currently I am engrossed with CE relating to CBCT guided implant placement and restoration.
