ABOUT ADAM GOINS
I have 20 years of experience across all aspects of production, helping to realize web and TV marketing campaigns, design-driven and music/audio branding, and visual effects for award-winning TV shows and feature films. Having worked direct to client, on behalf of ad agencies and with a variety of creative vendors, I am extremely well versed and suited to collaborating with and providing leadership for any type of team. After receiving an undergraduate degree at Brown University in Computer Music, I have used my technical know-how to participate in various audio technical projects, from sound design in live theatre to mixing/engineering musical performances (live and studio recorded). I am versed in Pro Tools, Melodyne, Finale composition software, as well as Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder programs. While working full time, I have taken great steps to further my unquenchable thirst for musical knowledge, learning orchestration at the Berklee School of Music, studying conducting under maestros Conrad Pope, Angel Velez, Kirk Trevor, Gerard Schwarz and Tito Muñoz, and participating in the NYU Film Scoring Workshop under tutelage of Bruce Braughton, Mark Snow and other composers. Singing is in my blood, quite literally as a 4th generation musician and singer in my family. Under the tutelage of the famed opera singer (and my grandfather) Andrew Frierson, I have honed my own baritone sound, focused on expressiveness and musicality. As a choral singer of both early (13-19th century) and modern music for over 20 years, I have led bass sections, sung numerous solos and pride myself in blend, tone and intonation. My voiceover talents lend themselves to narration, clear yet warm announcer, over-the-top manly, and deadpan humor. The skills I have learned and honed both musically and as a producer weave into each other continuously, and I am always looking forward to the next challenge.
