Adam Friedman is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of 1Print, where he helps lead the development of resilient 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) solutions for infrastructure, coastal protection, housing, and defense, while advancing the robotics, materials, and deployment capabilities shaping the future of the 3DCP industry.With a background spanning construction, aerospace, defense, and entrepreneurship, Adam started in construction at age 12 and has remained closely tied to the field ever since. He is self-taught in business, CAD, and 3D printing, with a hands-on approach shaped by field experience, technical curiosity, and a focus on solving real problems, improving how things are built, and turning ideas into practical execution.Before co-founding 1Print, Adam spearheaded the adoption of 3D printing in the aerospace and defense sector, proving its practical value and delivering measurable ROI. He later sold and consulted on large-scale production 3D printers and advanced CAD software for aerospace, defense, and manufacturing companies.Today, Adam helps lead 1Print’s work across Natural and Hybrid Infrastructure (NHI), resilient housing, marine infrastructure, and coastal protection, including technologies such as SEAHIVE®. Under Adam and Fredrik’s leadership, 1Print has delivered 3DCP robots, training, and materials to the DoD and leading universities while developing intellectual property across design, processes, materials, and related innovations.Adam is focused on finding value, solving hard problems, and building solutions that matter to the mission. He places strong value on the partners and team members who make that work possible.
