I currently work as a Client Manager of Executive Benefits at Marsh McLennan where I assist individual and corporate clients with risk management solutions.Born and raised in Durham, NC, I stayed close to home to attend Duke University for college. After completing my Bachelor\'s degree and then receiving my Master\'s in Management Studies at Duke\'s Fuqua School of Business, I moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue an exciting career in the sports industry.Through sports marketing roles with an agency (GMR Marketing) and with a healthcare system (Atrium Health), I had the opportunity to work on amazing projects and attend once-in-a-lifetime events. I planned and attended events at NASCAR races, NFL games, MLB games, MLS games, world-famous golf resorts such as Torrey Pines, and more. I worked with Fortune 50 companies such as Lowe\'s Home Improvement, Humana Insurance, and Proctor & Gamble, where I had visibility to C-level executives. I worked on marketing programs designed to generate leads, engage with consumers, and drive purchases.After 9 years of working in sports and at a new stage in my life with a growing family, I made an extremely tough and scary decision to completely transition my career. I moved into the insurance industry to pursue an opportunity that would challenge me and allow me to grow professionally.Over my entire career, I have used my organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic to efficiently produce excellent work, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
