As an award-winning Operations Manager for our Pall-Ex and APC operation, I am responsible for the end to end operations for our palletised and parcel freight.This includes:Line management of delivery and trunk driversPlanning routes for our Collection and Delivery vehicles based on expected inbound freightScanning inbound freight from our trunk vehiclesAssisting Pall-Ex drivers with locating and loading freight to delivery vehicles using counterbalance forkliftScanning freight on delivery vehicles and releasing electronic manifest to driver delivery devices so that electronic proof of delivery can be obtained for deliveriesLiaising with other depots for issues regarding freight we are delivering on their behalfEnsuring service on freight belonging to our customersAllocating collections to delivery vehiclesUnloading collections onto correct trunk vehicle using counterbalance forkliftScanning outbound freight to generate manifest for Pall-Ex hubsEnsuring adherence to corporate policies as well as legal requirements for vehicle operations, health & safety, and other regulationsEnsuring service levels and KPIs are met or exceeded
