WORK HISTORY
Founder and President @Canadian Family Foundation Canfam
CA
The Canadian Family Foundation (CanFAM) was created with the goal of strengthening the communities in which we work and play. We are proud to have been a part of Canada’s response to the Syrian refugee crisis in 2015, helping newcomers to Canada access the basic employment, housing, social, and educational tools to become self-reliant. Our current work focuses on animal welfare and senior welfare. In partnership with Copperblock Capital, we raise money to fund animal shelters and rescue organizations all over the world; in addition, we are organizing a campaign to recognize and give back to impoverished and socially isolated seniors, which for 2019 will culminate in a Christmas dinner and dance fundraiser.

ABOUT ADAM MORRIS
Adam F.D. Morris is Co-Founder and CEO of CNTNR Inc. CNTNR builds residential and commercial buildings across North America using steel shipping containers (also known as sea-cans). Durable, energy efficient, and cost effective, CNTNR\'s buildings look identical to traditional structures but are built in half the time, require little maintenance, and have a low environmental footprint. Adam has extensive experience in all sides of real estate. In his youth he immersed himself in his family’s residential design and construction business, quickly developing a fervor for growing and selling businesses. This led Adam to spearhead the creation and development of multiple sister companies—including a construction company, a consulting firm, and a private equity fund—all of which he successfully divested. In recent years, Adam has taken the helm of the family business and scaled it to the level of executing multi-million dollar deals. His latest company, CNTNR, builds eco-friendly, durable, and low maintenance shipping container buildings across Canada. A passionate, strategic, and driven serial entrepreneur, Adam is drawn to high impact enterprises that transform communities for the better. His interests in human rights and animal rights have led him to found the Canadian Family Foundation, a non-profit organization which works to improve animal welfare and senior welfare.
