In my role as a Health Information Specialist, I am responsible for abstracting pertinent health information from physical medical records and documents, meticulously converting them into digital formats. I utilise advanced scanning equipment and software to efficiently transform paper-based records into electronic archives. A key aspect of my job involves establishing a methodical and secure archiving system that encompasses both physical and digital health records. I work closely with various members of the EHR program team, collaborating with IT professionals and healthcare providers to ensure the seamless and efficient management of crucial data processes.
