I believe in servant leadership and have built my career around being a reliable problem solver, critical thinker, and strategic collaborator. I seek opportunities to be involved in activities which both build community and help create a sense of pride in a place\'s unique identity. My resume highlights include territory development, relationship building / maintenance, and brand development / awareness. I believe that any successes I have found in these tasks stem from intentionally seeking opportunities to travel, share stories, and network. These passions when combined with practiced, intentional, active listening and a willingness to question have helped build a global network of collaborators. I’m proud to have been the first in my family to graduate from college, earn a master’s degree, and travel internationally. I get energy from learning the stories of others and am an avid note taker during conversations. Seeing the bigger picture in stories helps guide my growth and helps satisfy my desire to treat the workplace like a classroom, where it is both my job to teach but also to participate in learning. I actively seek a large diverse group of mentors and believe in regularly talking about problems to receive feedback and challenge my ideas. My resume shows as pattern of taking the lead on projects that provide an opportunity to rethink and rebuild existing processes. These projects have been informed by knowledge gained through extensive participation in professional development conferences related to various higher education issues in strategic enrollment management, student leadership, experiential education, mission integrity, and community engagement.
