About Adam Buck

My name is Adam Buck and I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I graduated as a varsity athlete with two majors in both Economics and Public Policy. I am passionate about finance and the advancement and optimization of the sector as a whole. I entered college with the goal of being a theoretical physicist, and initially pursued astrophysics, but soon realized that I enjoyed investing. I went on to launch the UNC Economics Department Hedge Fund Club and developed a community where students could learn the basics of investing and expand their knowledge of the subject. In March 2021, during my final football season at UNC Chapel Hill, I fundraised to start my own venture fund. Thanks to the boom in blockchain currency markets, and by participating in seed rounds for decentralized finance projects, the fund reached a value of $1.1 million. I am in the process of rotating much of my profits into my very own nonprofit to help children in my hometown reach their goals by funding their activities and endeavors.
