I am the Senior Vice President of Academic Innovation at OU Education Services (OUES), where I lead a dynamic team dedicated to advancing learning innovation through the design, development, and maintenance of online programs. Our work focuses on expanding access to high-quality, real-world educational experiences that empower learners to reach their full potential.My approach to innovation is deeply rooted in constructionist and social learning principles, emphasizing hands-on, real-world application and community-driven knowledge sharing. I believe that education should be iterative, adaptive, and responsive to the needs of both students and faculty.Prior to my current role, I served as an Assistant Professor of Advertising and Director of the Office of Digital Learning at the University of Oklahoma, where I oversaw the launch of 25 new professional master\'s degree programs across diverse disciplines, including business, engineering, education, communication, and social sciences. I led a talented team of instructional designers, technologists, and media experts to create engaging and effective online learning experiences.I am passionate about leveraging technology to bridge the gap between faculty and administration and fostering environments where innovation thrives. My experience includes guiding university R&D efforts, leading faculty learning communities focused on integrating technology into the classroom, and advising on strategic technology investments, including system-wide learning management systems.Beyond my professional roles, I founded and curated TEDxOU, an event designed to showcase thought leadership and community engagement. I am honored to have been recognized with multiple awards, including Innovator of the Year and Achievers Under 40 from the Journal Record, as well as the Owen Kulemeka Teacher of the Year Award.
