ABOUT ADAM COCKBURN

As a CIO/CTO, Strategist and Chief Architect, I’m driven by delivering technology enabled solutions that customers want and need. My experience in leading, improving and empowering teams spans the technology operating model. I’ve developed enterprise IT strategies in sectors like telecoms, financial services and retail/distribution, but I’ve also developed strong commercial propositions, collaborative business/IT engagement, and the delivery rigour needed for complex multi-year transformative strategies. By challenging current ways of working, I help leadership teams deliver digital offerings, enabled by tech. This has included leading the “people and culture” elements of transformation, providing a role model and vision in times of uncertainty. I’ve been central to the delivery of countless innovative projects, and my strong core competencies have helped to develop solid partnerships. I ensure the whole organisation is best placed to maximise the value of IT, at the point commercial opportunities are formulated.
