From running my own software consultancy for 12 years, then being full-time CTO for 2 AI start-ups, I\'m now continuing my career journey in the franchise home care industry with my appointment as CTO at Home Instead UK Ltd. The home care sector has traditionally lacked behind other sectors in terms of technology adoption, this for me is a great appeal as it means there is so much more to accomplish by not only \'catching up\' but driving innovation to solve real problems faced by our network of franchise offices and ultimately the clients we serve.Key points:*I have built end-to-end AI products and services. A highlight was becoming an official development partner of Siemens AG, designing/developing several of their enterprise platforms since 2017.I founded my own software consultancy firm in 2010 and spent 10 years growing it internationally. There was a natural progression from working within my own company to becoming an extension of my clients’ companies as their part-time/fractional CTO to help them build and grow their start-ups. I have spent the past 3 years working solely as a fractional CTO, growing and building start-ups. I am now looking for either more fractional positions or a single full-time position.
