Over 30 years’ experience as SVP/COO/CFO in industry and as an advisor helping companies in transition. Lead roles in finance, operations, M&A, restructuring and performance improvement. Recognized for a relentless focus on the core strategic goals and stakeholder management to drive team confidence and success. Experience with financing and M&A transaction processes, business valuations and corporate finance on all sides of the deal. Extensive international experience - automotive plants in Italy and UK, mining and steel in Mexico, Canadian and US manufacturing and CPG - I am able to manage differing cultural, operational and regulatory requirements across regions and corporate cultures. As COO/CFO for a CPG market leader, managed the massive market impacts of Covid, supply chain disruptions and inflation all while raising capital and successfully implementing a new ERP. A thought-leader, I am co-author of the book, “The Purchase and Sale of Privately Held Businesses” and was a frequent speaker and writer and has been published in Canada, the United States and Mexico.I am also currently on the Board (past Board President) at the Tarragon Theatre, Canada’s neighbourhood theatre company.
