   This position reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization\'s Java software applications; develops detailed design specifications and unit test plans for all code created or modified; and resolves technical issues through debugging and troubleshooting. Examples of major projects include:Finalized processing for all location based date/time updates, e.g. appointments, arrival, departures for TMS system, specifically included negative logic workflow and role and rule based processing to accomodate various transportation mode requirements. This process is used in direct call method for all real time outbound data reporting, and replaced a previous piece that involving an affectionally named \"Nanny\" process which had corrected problems in stored procedure failures.Transactional and daily reporting for PO/SKU information with a major retailer. The XML output specifically joined 3 different ERD implementations the customer had into a singular reporting format, and enhanced visibility and tracking, including vendor compliance with short fulfillment, excessive inventory levels beyond authorization, and late delivery of product to stores. Enhancements to previously developed post image only journal process involving storing customer database information in auxillary tables, comparing this information on a per data item basis, and based on operational procedures, building custom notification for operational emergencies and data compliance processing failures which would auto recover based on system downtimes or delays in processing, it also included removing manual real time updates for most data alterations with accomadations for load requests placed in a hold status. This included generation of a build plan that would report to the customer the highest effeciency of collected goods to be shipped above an accepted operational limit.
